新型シボレーコルベットC８
3LTのZ51パッケージです。
本国でも現在とても入手困難で、コルベットがあると人だかりができるそうです。
実際に弊社のコルベット、アメリカ本国で輸送中にも、
車の周りに人が集まってきたり、すれ違い際や止まっている周りの車が
集まって渋滞ができるほど(^▽^;)
本国でもまだまだお目にかかれないコルベットC8ですが
コルベット輸送中のこういった逸話も面白いですね(*^ω^*)ﾆｺｯ
今回の変更ではミッドシップレイアウトになった事が一番の変更点です。
自動車の機構で最も重たいエンジンが車の中心近くに位置しているため
重量配分バランスがとても良くなっています。
これによってコーナリング時の安定性が非常に高まります。
FFではオーバーステア、FR、RRではアンダーステアとなりますが
MRはニュートラルステアになりますので
コーナーでの限界スピードが最も高く、
それが理由で多くのスポーツカーに採用されています。
コーナリングに弱点のあったコルベットですが、
今回のモデルは史上最強のパフォーマンスです。
それを実現しながらデイリーユースできることを課題に
製作されたコルベットC８は普通に乗れるスーパーカーです。
実用的な部分はフロントボンネット内にトランクスペースがありながら、
リアエンジンの後ろにもゴルフバックが２個積載できる
スペースがございます。
コルベット伝統のタルガトップ（ルーフパネル脱着式）
コンバーチブルも良いですが、このタルガトップも
解放感があって良いです♬
取り外したルーフパネルはトランクに収納できます。
ルーフパネルは私も持ってみましたが、
とても軽量で一人でも脱着可能です。
495hpの馬力。0-100km/hは2.9秒。
TREMEC製８速デュアルクラッチトランスミッションを搭載しています。
奇数と偶数のギヤを絶える事なく繋いでいられるため
変速のロスがないデュアルクラッチはスーパーカーにおいては
もはや常識！コルベットにもついにデュアルクラッチが備わりました。
コルベットの伝統が無くなるのは残念ですが、
リーフスプリングもいよいよコイルオーバーサスペンションに
変更され完全に走れるスーパーカーになりました。
寸法は、全長4630mm、全幅1933mm、全高1234mm。
リアハッチがガラスフードになり自慢のLT2エンジンが見える演出。
テールはLEDデザインになりましたが、
４灯のテールはコルベットらしい。
車高が低く登れない段差がありましたが、
フロントリフティングが装備されこれはとてもありがたい機能です。
ハード面ではAppleCarPlay&AndroidAutoが装備され、
お手持ちのスマートフォンの地図が純正画面に投影されます。
もちろんSiriにも対応しておりとても便利です。
